CMHR, Reflex and Reconstituted foam CMHR – Density Range 38 – 42 (Combustion Modified High Resilient) standard domestic firm seating grade colour blue is stocked in sheetsof ½”(12mm), 1” (25mm), 1½” (35mm), 2” (50mm), 3” (75mm), 4” (100mm) and 5” (125mm).
The foam can be cut to your size and fabricated into various shapes. When used in upholstery it is usual to wrap the foam in polyester wadding to give a softer feel and appearance.
Reconstituted foam (95 kg/m³, 6lb) A very dense foam suitable for Gymnastic mats, Contract seating, upholstery padding & packaging. It is often used in combination with CMHR foam for example in a bar stool where it would be usual to use a 50mm base of reconstituted foam topped with 12mm of CMHR.
All foam grades meet the requirements of Schedule 1, part 1, of the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations, S.I. 1324 of 1988 (amended 1989)(Amd 1993), and are also suitable for applications requiring FMVSS302.
