Punched out of strong cold rolled steel, 11mm wide Tacktite has conditioned edges and rounded end to help eliminate snags and tears on delicate fabrics.
The tacking strips have a deep cut serration in the tacks for greater holding power.
The idea is that you use these as an invisible fixing on outside backs/arms etc. You wrap your fabric around the strip then nail it to the furniture.
I would suggest a thin layer of polyester wadding (2oz) will soften the edge particularly on thinner fabrics.
Particularly good on leather/vinyl fabrics which are not easy to slip stitch.
