Gooseneck Webbing Stretcher Osborne No 253
A hand stretcher to catch the webbing close to the frame with plenty of leverage. Used to tension upholstery webbing (2″ Jute, 3″ Jute, 3.5″ Jute, Herringbone etc.)
Equally efficient for the right or left hand. Extra sturdy construction. The tool works very fast and very efficiently.
Webbing Stretcher is first placed up against the chair seat frame. Next the end of the webbing is pulled onto the spikes and using the non slip rubber end of the tool for leverage the webbing is pulled tight over the seat before nailing or stapling in place.
•Length – 10″
•Width – 4″
•Weight – 14oz
TIP: you do NOT need Webbing Stretcher for Rubber (Ercol (Pirelli), Atlas, etc.) or Elasticated webbing – tension the webbing by stretching it by hand instead.
